Emilie Petirs has substantial employment litigation experience, including the defense of statutory discrimination, harassment and retaliation claims, as well as contract and common law tort claims. She also has litigated several restrictive covenant, trade secret and unfair competition cases, including successfully obtaining and opposing temporary restraining orders and preliminary injunctions.
Ms. Petirs also advises clients on the full range of employment law issues that impact their business. She has particular expertise in drafting Human Resources policies and auditing those policies and practices, including wage and hour, leaves of absence and trade secret issues.
Ms. Petirs is a 2005 graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law and a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Oregon.
