George J. Schaller practices in the area of employment law with a focus on employment related-related class action litigation. Mr. Schaller defends businesses in matters ranging from nationwide class and collective actions to single-plaintiff lawsuits and administrative charges. He represents clients across various industries, including restaurants, logistics companies, financial services companies, and staffing entities. Primarily, Mr. Schaller defends companies in lawsuits involving claims of wage and hour violations, BIPA violations, and privacy class actions. He also defends companies in a variety of single-plaintiff and administrative charges concerning allegations of discrimination, harassment, and wage and hour violations. Mr. Schaller is keenly interested in Artificial Intelligence and regularly authors articles on AI-related issues.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Schaller served as a judicial law clerk to the Hon. Melissa A. Durkin of the Cook County Circuit Court, Law Division.
Mr. Schaller is a 2021 graduate of the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law and a graduate of the University of Illinois – Urbana Champaign.
