Jamie Cheng is an associate in the firm's Employment, Labor, Benefits and Immigration Practice Group. He represents employers in a wide range of labor and employment matters, including single-plaintiff, class and representative actions involving claims such as discrimination, retaliation, arbitration, wage-and-hour violations and other workplace disputes. Before law school, Jamie worked as a salesfloor and logistics manager for a major retail chain, which allowed him to understand the business interests of employers firsthand.
Jamie earned his J.D. from the University of California, Davis School of Law, where he served as Senior Articles Editor of the Business Law Journal and was President of the Korean American Law Students Association. He received his B.A. in English from the University of California, Los Angeles, with a minor in philosophy.
