Jayla C. Grant practices in the area of intellectual property law, currently supporting all aspects of patent litigation. She has assisted teams in various aspects of litigation, including initial case evaluation, drafting pleadings and dispositive motions, discovery, preparing non-infringement and invalidity contentions, and trial preparation.
Prior to joining Duane Morris, Ms. Grant practiced primarily white collar, commercial and real estate litigation, including business torts, contract claims, and complex commercial disputes, in addition to practicing copyright/trademark infringement.
Ms. Grant is the first graduate of Georgia State University to earn the dual degree J.D. and M.S. in Data Science and Analytics. She is also a cum laude graduate of Spelman College, where she earned a B.S. in Mathematics and a minor in Computer Science. Her technical background lends her experience in analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), big data, machine learning, computer software and hardware.
