Jeffrey Nellis represents employers in a broad range of employment law matters, including wage and hour class and representative actions, employment discrimination and harassment claims, and workplace counseling. He advises clients on employment policies, employee discipline, workplace investigations, reductions in force and compliance with state and federal employment laws.
Prior to joining Duane Morris, Jeffrey was an associate at a national labor and employment law firm, where he managed employment litigation matters from inception through resolution. His experience includes drafting dispositive motions and mediation briefs, conducting depositions, participating in mediations and counseling employers on litigation strategy and risk management. He also advised clients on workforce reduction planning and compliance with federal and state WARN Act requirements.
Jeffrey earned his J.D., cum laude, from University of San Diego School of Law and his B.S. in Criminology and Criminal Justice from California State University, Long Beach.
