Jennifer Lotz has substantial experience in both employment litigation and counseling. In her litigation practice, Ms. Lotz has defended employers in federal and state courts, in arbitration and before various administrative agencies against claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, defamation, breach of contract, misappropriation of trade secrets, unfair business practices, and Labor Code and wage and hour violations, including single plaintiff, multi-plaintiff, class action and PAGA representative action matters.

As a counselor, Ms. Lotz partners with clients to effectively manage day-to-day workplace issues, including termination and discipline decisions, reasonable accommodation issues, managing leaves of absence, internal harassment, discrimination, and retaliation complaints, workforce reductions, employee classification issues and compensation disputes. Ms. Lotz also has significant experience drafting employee handbooks and policies, executive employment agreements, severance agreements and arbitration agreements. Ms. Lotz has represented both employers and executives in individual employment agreement matters, including in connection with mergers and acquisitions. 

Ms. Lotz is a graduate of Stanford Law School and a magna cum laude graduate of Georgetown University
