John B. McCusker represents corporate and individual clients, including Fortune 500 petroleum and pharmaceutical corporations, in employment discrimination, environmental/remediation, climate change and complex commercial litigation matters. In his employment practice, he defends clients against claims of discrimination, retaliation and Employee Retirement Income Security Act and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission violations, as well as claims by employees through the U.S. Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division.
Mr. McCusker also litigates large, complex, environmental matters arising under an array of federal laws and their state equivalents, including the federal Clean Air Act (CAA), Superfund, Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA), Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), Clean Water Act (CWA), National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and state "mini-NEPAs," and the Endangered Species Act (ESA), on behalf of major oil companies.
Mr. McCusker is a 1982 graduate of Villanova University School of Law and a graduate, with honors, of Muhlenberg College.
