Joseph T. Walsh, PC is co-chair of the Environmental Division of Duane Morris' Trial Practice Group and is a nationally prominent litigator. Prior to joining Duane Morris, Mr. Walsh held several senior global leadership positions in ExxonMobil’s law department, including serving as general counsel for the Downstream Companies – comprised of the world’s largest refining operations and marketing and sales operations of petroleum products supporting >$200 billion in annual revenues and more than 35,000 employees in 120 countries. Mr. Walsh also served as an assistant general counsel managing lawyers across ExxonMobil’s core legal areas, including environmental, regulatory, commercial, real estate divestment, manufacturing, emergency response, claims/litigation and global business services for 14,000 employees in eight international locations. Prior to joining ExxonMobil, Mr. Walsh was a trial attorney representing Fortune 500 companies in federal and state courts and before regulatory agencies, including commercial, mass torts and class action claims. Mr. Walsh is a graduate of Seton Hall University School of Law and a graduate of Boston College.
