Katherine Alphonso is a senior associate in the firm’s Employment, Labor, Benefits and Immigration Practice Group and a member of the Class Actions Defense team.

Katherine represents public, private, and nonprofit employers in a wide range of labor and employment matters, with a particular focus on wage and hour class actions, Private Attorney General Act (PAGA) claims, and single-plaintiff employment disputes. She also represents employers in a variety of privacy and cybersecurity matters. Katherine regularly litigates matters in federal and state courts and in arbitration proceedings, handling cases from inception through resolution. Her practice encompasses all aspects of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, hearings, and mediation. Katherine has significant experience preparing witnesses, drafting substantive and procedural motions and briefs, negotiating settlements, and developing litigation strategies aligned with business objectives. She has successfully resolved numerous matters at favorable outcomes for employers.

Katherine is a 2016 graduate of Golden Gate University School of Law where she was Associate Editor of the Golden Gate University Law Review and a 2008 graduate of University of California, Berkeley.
