Lauren Matturri practices in the area of intellectual property law, providing advice to clients regarding their intellectual property from a business perspective. Ms. Matturri has experience with trademark litigation, copyright infringement, infringement investigations, policing, prosecution, licensing agreements, copyright, design patent infringements and patent litigation. She also worked with developing anti-counterfeiting measures for clients across all industries including fashion, consumer products, medical devices, and food and beverages.
In addition to her prosecution and counseling practice, Ms. Matturri is regularly involved in trademark and copyright litigation in federal courts across the country. She has been part of teams that have obtained preliminary injunctions and temporary restraining orders on behalf of trademark clients. Ms. Matturri regularly handles and manages opposition and cancellation proceedings in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. She has also spearheaded enforcement campaigns in the United States and overseas for clients in industries where counterfeiting and knockoffs are prevalent. Outside the U.S., Ms. Matturri regularly enforces clients’ intellectual property rights across the world, including in the E.U., U.K., China, and India.
Ms. Matturri is a 2018 graduate of Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law, where she was online editor and staff writer for the Villanova Law Review, and a graduate, with honors, of Lafayette College.
