Michael H. Gibson concentrates his practice primarily in the areas of commercial litigation, labor and employment law, consumer credit law, and securities litigation and arbitration. He regularly represents financial institutions and multinational corporations in matters involving general commercial disputes, including class action litigation, as well as claims of discrimination, wrongful termination, violation of the Family and Medical Leave Act, trade secrets, restrictive covenants, and executive compensation. Mr. Gibson also represents lenders and third-party debt collectors in connection with claims arising out of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and other consumer credit claims.
Mr. Gibson has represented such clients as Oppenheimer & Co. Inc., Cengage Learning, Inc., RELX, Inc., JP Morgan Chase & Co., Moody’s Investors Services, Inc., North American Bancard, LLC, and Merrick Bank in complex commercial litigation matters, labor and employment disputes, and consumer credit claims.
Mr. Gibson is a 2004 graduate of Brooklyn Law School and a graduate of the State University of New York at Brockport.
