Michelle N. Khoury

Michelle Khoury is a Senior Associate practicing in the firm’s San Francisco office. Michelle’s practice focuses on civil litigation, with an emphasis on insurance coverage and commercial disputes. For more than a decade, she has counseled and represented insurance companies in complex matters, including providing advice on coverage issues and claims handling, and representing insurers in coverage actions, bad faith litigation, and contribution and subrogation matters. Michelle has extensive experience with several lines of insurance, including general liability, professional liability, errors and omissions liability, employment practices liability, directors and officers liability, and excess and umbrella liability. She has worked on a wide range of claims, including environmental pollution, asbestos, sexual abuse, construction defects, and professional malpractice.

Michelle is also active in the Firm’s employment group, where she has litigated various employment claims through trial. In addition, she has litigated cases involving misappropriation of trade secrets, business contracts, and other commercial matters.

Michelle is a programming chair for WINS (Women’s Impact Network for Success).

Michelle is a 2015 graduate of the University of California, Davis School of Law, where she was executive editor of the Business Law Journal. She graduated summa cum laude from Santa Clara University, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
