Olivia M. Scofield focuses her practice on business immigration law. She counsels multinational and domestic companies on the full spectrum of employment-based nonimmigrant and immigrant matters, developing strategic solutions to support the hiring and retention of foreign national talent in the United States.
Ms. Scofield has advised clients across a range of industries, including technology, finance, insurance, and marketing, as well as hospitality and the arts. Her practice encompasses petitions for specialty occupation professionals, intracompany transferees, individuals of extraordinary ability, and treaty-based business visitors, as well as the PERM labor certification process, and adjustment of status applications. Ms. Scofield is a trusted advisor to in-house counsel, human resources professionals, and business leaders on U.S. immigration requirements, including issues related to corporate restructuring, regulatory compliance, and international travel restrictions. She leads case strategy for sophisticated filings and government challenges, including Requests for Evidence (RFEs) from United States Customs and Immigration (USCIS), audits from the Department of Labor (DOL), and other complex adjudication issues.
Ms. Scofield is a graduate of the University of Georgia School of Law.
