Patrick H. Foley is a healthcare attorney who represents and advises physician groups, hospitals, health systems, managed care networks and other healthcare clients in a wide variety of issues, including provider reimbursements, contract disputes, regulatory compliance, fraud and abuse, surprise billing laws (including the No Surprises Act), corporate practice of medicine prohibitions and day-to-day operational questions. As part of that practice, he has worked extensively to advocate for physician groups and hospital-based providers in reimbursement disputes with commercial and government payors. Mr. Foley also has a broad array of experience in complex civil litigation matters, representing a wide variety of clients (including large healthcare organizations, major academic medical centers, state and local agencies, entertainment companies, municipalities and other businesses).
Prior to joining Duane Morris, Mr. Foley was a member of the in-house legal team for the largest private for-profit healthcare system in the United States, overseeing a substantial portfolio of business units and internal clients, leading numerous special initiatives and high-profile litigation matters, and managing outside counsel in all areas.
Mr. Foley is a 2010 cum laude graduate of Suffolk University Law School, where he was note editor of the Suffolk University Law Review, and a graduate of Trinity College.
