Shipra K. Rege practices in the area of litigation, representing clients in all stages of complex civil disputes. In her commercial litigation practice, Shipra represents and advises companies in contract disputes, real estate disputes and business tort claims. In her securities litigation practice, Shipra represents brokerage firms and associated persons before courts and regulatory bodies, such the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), in cases brought by customers involving allegations of unauthorized trading and other sales practice violations. Shipra also defends FINRA member firms in employment-related arbitration proceedings involving requests for expungement of language from Form U5s and allegations of wrongful termination.
Shipra is a 2015 graduate of Case Western Reserve University School of Law, where she was executive notes editor of Health Matrix: Journal of Law-Medicine, and a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Pittsburgh.
