Stephanie A. Williams focuses her practice on commercial litigation, including secured transactions, foreclosure actions on behalf of large regional and national banks, commercial and retail collections, personal property replevin matters and commercial and residential evictions. Ms. Williams has experience drafting case strategy; arguing motions and other hearings before various courts and organizations; attending mediations and negotiating settlements; preparing witnesses for deposition and trial testimony; and handling business and individual immigration matters for clients, including obtaining lawful permanent resident status and H-1B and L-1A work authorization. She also has experience managing the business of a law firm, including budget and billing issues and supervising associate attorneys, paralegals and staff.

Prior to entering private practice, Ms. Williams served as law clerk to Justices Delahanty II, Gorman, Wheeler and Brodrick of the Maine Superior Court.

Ms. Williams is a 2005 cum laude graduate of the University of Maine School of Law, where she was case note and comment editor of the Maine Law Review, and a graduate, with honors, of the University of Utah.
