Valeria Romero

Valeria Romero is a dual-qualified attorney licensed in the United States and Colombia. Ms. Romero practices in the area of litigation with a focus on construction and international commercial disputes, advising and representing clients in complex disputes arising from large-scale development projects, as well as cross-border commercial transactions. Her extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of legal systems across Latin America, the United States, and Europe enable her to effectively represent a diverse range of clients in both domestic and international matters.

Ms. Romero earned her law degree from Universidad del Rosario, in Bogotá, Colombia, immediately followed by her completion of a specialization degree in Contract Law at the same institution. Additionally, Ms. Romero holds a master’s degree in corporate legal counseling from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid in Spain and an LL.M. in International Arbitration from the University of Miami School of Law. Ms. Romero is licensed to practice law in the State of New York, and her Bar Exam score qualifies as a UBE Score which can be transferred to any UBE Jurisdiction. Ms. Romero is eligible for admission in 40 states across the United States.
