Veronica C. Law focuses her practice on complex commercial real estate transactions and financial institution representation. With more than 20 years’ experience handling an array of transactional work for private businesses, non-profits, governmental entities, and individuals, Ms. Law represents clients in matters involving real estate, finance and other commercial transactions. Her real estate work encompasses acquisitions and dispositions, leasing, financing and development. She represents office condominium developers and has experience in retail, multifamily, industrial and warehouse.
Ms. Law’s deep business perspective derives from having served as General Counsel of a B2B provider of wholesale products to the auto and RV industry; in-house counsel at an insurance syndicate; and consultant to the Real Estate Department at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. Her industry focus is Banking and Finance and Construction and Engineering; additional industries include energy, education and retail/consumer.
Ms. Law’s community is a huge part of her life, and she devotes much of her time outside work to various Fort Worth nonprofit, community-building, and charitable endeavors, including Chairwoman of the Board of Directors for Fort Worth Sister Cities International, President of the Board of Directors for Leadership Fort Worth, member of the Advisory Committee for Tarrant County District 9 for the Minority/Women Owned Business Enterprise (MWBE), on the Board of Directors of the AIDS Outreach Center, and the Board of Governors of The Fort Worth Club.
Ms. Law has been recognized by both her community and within the legal profession. Some of her more notable honors include having been elected to Tarrant County College’s Board of Trustees, representing District 7; being selected as one of Fort Worth’s 400 Most Influential People by Fort Worth Magazine for 2022 through 2024; and having been selected as one of Fort Worth’s 500 Most Influential People by Fort Worth Magazine for 2025 – one of only 20 attorneys included.
Ms. Law graduated from University of Colorado at Boulder with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with Business Emphasis, magna cum laude, and earned her law degree from the University of Colorado School of Law.
