Victoria R. Carradero is an employment defense litigator with substantial federal and state court experience.  Her litigation experience includes, among other matters, complex discrimination, harassment and retaliation suits, whistleblower cases, wage and hour matters (including class, collective and representative actions), contract and tort claims, as well as misappropriation of trade secrets (soft IP)/breach of confidentiality agreement cases. She represents clients primarily in the technology and life sciences industries, as well as telecommunications and media.

Ms. Carradero advises clients on the full range of issues impacting the employment relationship, from employer policies and employee classifications (e.g., exempt/non-exempt and independent contractor/employee), to litigation avoidance, risk assessment and investigation strategy.

Ms. Carradero formerly served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Northern District of California, where she handled employment defense and other civil litigation matters on behalf of the federal government and its various agencies. There, she gained substantial federal court litigation experience in a broad and diverse set of matters, a number of which attracted attention from the press. Ms. Carradero has deep experience leading the defense of such matters and managing the risk of adverse publicity.

Ms. Carradero is a 2001 graduate of Stanford Law School, where she was a member of the Stanford Law and Policy Review and led the Stanford StreetLaw Program, a program dedicated to educating youth in the Bay Area. She received her undergraduate degree, with high distinction and high honors, from the University of California, Berkeley.
