William L. Marchant's practice includes a wide range of commercial litigation, with an emphasis on construction disputes. He has extensive experience with representing owners/developers in construction defect cases. This includes projects such as the Infinity, Lumina and Mira, all in San Francisco. He also was involved in the Millennium Tower litigation. He represents developers, investment groups, partnerships, contractors, and small business owners in both construction and non-construction-related matters.
Mr. Marchant also litigates employment and labor matters on behalf of employers in state and federal court. This includes harassment and discrimination claims, as well as whistleblower, retaliation and wrongful termination matters.
Mr. Marchant is a 1991 cum laude graduate of the University of San Francisco School of Law and a graduate of the University of California at Davis. In addition to his law practice, Mr. Marchant has served as the Co-Chair of the Board of Trustees for the East Bay Zoological Society (Oakland Zoo), a member of the Board of Trustees for the Head-Royce School, and a member of the Board of Directors for the Olympic Club.
