Zabrina Hamid is a Director of Selvam LLC in the Corporate Real Estate Practice. With close to 20 years of experience, she provides legal advice to public and private companies, as well as private individuals, on a wide range of real estate matters including commercial, industrial and residential properties. Her areas of practice include property acquisitions and disposals, property financing and refinancing, mortgages, and loans. Zabrina also advises on leases, landlord and tenant matters, and regulatory and compliance issues. Additionally, she has experience in trademark law, offering counsel on trademark registration and protection.
Previously, Zabrina was the head of the Property Law Department at another Singapore law firm.
Prior to legal practice, Zabrina was engaged in editing notable legal periodicals and works such as The Singapore Law Reports, Asian International Arbitration Journal, The Malayan Law Journal, Halsbury’s Laws of Singapore and Cheshire, Fifoot and Furmston’s Law of Contract – Singapore and Malaysian Edition.
Zabrina obtained her LL.B. (Hons.) from the National University of Singapore and was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 1990. In addition to her legal practice, she is a Commissioner for Oaths and Notary Public.
Zabrina is bilingual in English and Malay.
