SAN FRANCISCO, July 22, 2022—Duane Morris LLP San Francisco partner Tracy A. Gallegos was named to the Daily Journal’s 2022 Top Cannabis Lawyers list. The list recognizes the top California attorneys working in the field of cannabis.
Gallegos serves as a team lead for the Duane Morris Cannabis Industry Group and has been involved in the cannabis space since 2010. Her background is in corporate and real estate transactions, with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, restructuring and financing on the corporate side, and acquisitions and dispositions, financing and commercial leasing on the real estate side. Gallegos’ transactional experience, combined with her regulatory knowledge, make her particularly adept at serving the many needs of both startup and large companies in the cannabis industry. Since the adult use cannabis regulations took effect in January 2018 in California, she has closed numerous M&A and financing deals for cannabis operators and investors, with an aggregate value exceeding several billion dollars. She has also assisted clients with navigating the complex and rapidly evolving regulatory scheme, at both the state and local levels.
