NEW YORK, June 14, 2024―Duane Morris has received the Pro Bono North America Firm of the Year Award at the 2024 Women in Business Law Awards. The Firm of the Year Awards celebrate the progressive and innovative work being done by firms to promote diversity and inclusion policies into the framework of their business. It specifically recognizes initiatives that aim to help women come to an equity standing within a traditionally male dominated industry. The Pro Bono Firm of the Year Award is reserved for firms whose pro bono and social engagement efforts are especially relevant to issues concerning women and gender diversity.

Final decisions for each award are made by the Women in Business Law Awards editorial team following an extensive research process. Decisions are entirely independent. Firm and jurisdictional winners are judged on their ability to support the development of women in the legal profession and provide work/life programs to enable women to pursue legal careers to the very highest level. Criteria include the ratio of female-to-male lawyers (at all levels of seniority), the retention of women associates to partner level and diversity initiatives.
