NEW YORK, January 31, 2024―Jennifer Polovetsky has joined Duane Morris LLP as a partner in the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group in its New York office. Prior to joining Duane Morris, Polovetsky was chair of the Eminent Domain practice at Herrick, Feinstein LLP.

“We continue to attract talented lateral partners to Duane Morris and welcome Jennifer as a great addition to our Real Estate practice and New York office,” said Duane Morris Chairman and CEO Matthew A. Taylor. “Expect continued lateral expansion in 2024 as our positive trajectory continues.”

“With a strong book of business and national client base, Jennifer brings deep experience to our group and she will enhance our well-established geographic footprint on eminent domain and land use matters, which are often very complex and nuanced,” said George J. Kroculick, co-chair of Duane Morris’ Real Estate Practice Group. “We see growth opportunities for our practice group in 2024 and are excited about our growing capabilities in the land use litigation realm.”

“We are thrilled to add Jennifer to our office,” said Michael D. Grohman, co-managing partner of the firm’s New York office. “And our full-service platform of attorneys are at the ready to support any aspect of Jennifer’s practice,” added James J. Regan, co-managing partner of the firm’s New York office.

She began her career more than two decades ago as an assistant corporation counsel at the NYC Law Department, Office of the Corporation Counsel, Tax & Bankruptcy Litigation Division. While there, Polovetsky represented the city of New York in all matters concerning eminent domain and property tax.

“The full-service Duane Morris platform will enable me to better serve my clients and I’m especially pleased to be part of the firm’s collaborative culture,” said Polovetsky.
