San Francisco, February 12 - Duane Morris LLP, one of the nation's 100 largest law firms, has added three immigration lawyers to the firm's San Francisco office. Lisa Spiegel, formerly of Sills Cummis Epstein & Gross P.C., and Clark M. Trevor, formerly of Jackson & Hertogs LLP, join as partners, and Alan C. Perkins joins the firm as an associate.
"We are delighted to welcome Lisa, Clark and Alan to the firm," said Sheldon Bonovitz, Chairman of Duane Morris. "Expertise in immigration law is of increasing importance to our clients world-wide. With this addition, we now have approximately 30 lawyers in our San Francisco office, and with our San Diego office, we provide a full range of legal services for companies doing business in California."
"Immigration law is becoming an exciting and dynamic area, particularly since it has been taken under the umbrella of the Department of Homeland Security," observed Joseph M. Burton, partner in charge of the San Francisco office of Duane Morris. "With the addition of this group to our existing strength in immigration and trade and customs, we are moving effectively in growing and changing to meet our clients' needs. It is obvious that law firms need the ability to respond to the regulatory integration of these three areas and we now have the expanded ability to meet the scope of those regulatory changes."
