Ellen Auwarter has worked with law firms for most of her career, which began with the practice of litigation and employment law. At Duane Morris, Ms. Auwarter oversees marketing and business development programs for the global Corporate Practice Group, including Private Equity, Capital Markets and Insurance Regulatory/Transactional. Ellen also serves as liaison for the firm's strategic relationship with the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG).
Previously, Ms. Auwarter held marketing and business development positions at Lovells LLP, Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler LLP and Deloitte & Touche LLP. Ellen also spent three years at the New York New Media Association (NYNMA), the largest industry association for new media and technology in the country at the height of the dot-com boom.
Ms. Auwarter has served on the Board of Directors of the Metropolitan New York Chapter of the Legal Marketing Association, and helped create the Careers in Transition Program that won Second Place, Chapter Programs, at LMA's Your Honor Awards in 2010. She has spoken at the ABA's Law Firm Marketing Strategies Conference, among other venues.
Admitted to practice in New York and Connecticut, Ms. Auwarter received her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law and her B.A. from Mount Holyoke College in American Studies.
