Andrew E. Mina practices in the areas of litigation and bankruptcy with a focus on the representation of financial institutions in financial services disputes.
Mr. Mina has represented corporations, banks, and loan service companies in complex commercial litigation matters, including consumer lending litigation. He has also successfully represented clients in federal and state courts involving products liability disputes, business partnership disputes, and complex real estate disputes.
Mr. Mina has significant experience advising insurers and secured and unsecured creditors in chapter 11 bankruptcy cases. He has represented clients in numerous complex bankruptcy cases such as In re the Diocese of Rockville Centre, New York and In re Diocese of Camden, New Jersey.
Mr. Mina has negotiated settlements in dozens of cases, through settlement discussions and by attending mediations, mandatory settlement conferences, and other forms of alternative dispute resolution for matters in both federal and state courts.
Mr. Mina practices throughout the United States, recently having handled matters in the courts of California, New York, and New Jersey.
Mr. Mina is a 2018 graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law and a magna cum laude graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles. He is fluent in spoken Arabic.

Representative Matters
Represented a national mortgage loan servicing company and bank in the United States District in the Central District Court of California in obtaining a favorable settlement and the dismissal of a lawsuit where the plaintiff alleged that the original loan servicer violated a bankruptcy court order and improperly serviced the plaintiff’s mortgage.
Represented an insurer in a complex chapter 11 bankruptcy of a Catholic Diocese facing hundreds sexual abuse claims; negotiated and drafted the settlement agreement that the client found favorable which included a buy-back of coverage, free and clear of all claims.
