Gregory Bailey practices in the area of litigation with a focus on regulatory and compliance matters, including risk management and liability disputes. Greg serves as a member of the firm’s Gaming Industry Group where he primarily advises heavily regulated clients in gaming, casino, and sports wagering-related matters. Greg advises a broad range of clients on business and contractual disputes, gaming compliance, regulatory matters, and licensing issues.
Greg regularly works with gaming industry clients, including casinos, internet gaming operators, sports betting companies, sweepstakes and fantasy operators, gaming related vendors, and other stakeholders. Greg defends gaming industry clients facing consumer disputes, including contest promotions, compulsive gambling, and class actions and collective arbitration claims asserting rights to recover revenues under gambling loss recovery and consumer fraud statutes. Greg advises clients on sports betting and gaming regulations, as well as matters involving opinions, compliance, liability disputes, business transactions, complex licensing matters, confidential investigations, and regulatory proceedings across multiple jurisdictions. Greg also has experience in commercial disputes and various risk management issues, including real estate, representing property owners and landlords in litigation matters.
Greg is a 2020 graduate of the Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law, where he was editor-in-chief of the Jeffrey S. Moorad Sports Law Journal. During law school, Greg held a judicial internship with the Honorable Mark A. Kearney of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He also served as a student attorney for the Farmworker Legal Aid Clinic, a member of Villanova’s National Trial team, vice president of the Pro Bono Society, and president of the Jewish Law Students Association. He is a 2015 graduate of the George Washington University.
