The Duane Morris Cannabis Industry Group will present a webinar, Mainstreaming Cannabis: Legal Challenges and Considerations for Social Consumption Lounges, on Thursday, September 26, 2024, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Eastern time.
About the Program
With the Drug Enforcement Agency’s recommendation to reschedule cannabis to a Schedule III drug, cannabis is emerging as the next big retail industry. In addition to the cultivation, manufacturing and retail arms of the industry, social consumption lounges are set to become another area of growth and expansion. But doing business in this still largely uncharted territory carries its own unique hurdles and legal issues. Join us for a panel discussion with three experienced cannabis operators who are in the midst of opening up cannabis consumption lounges. They will share their experiences as well as the practical and legal challenges of this segment of the industry.
