LOS ANGELES, August 18, 2026—Cyndie Chang has been selected as a recipient of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA) 2026 Women’s Leadership Award. The award honors the accomplishments of all lawyers who identify as women and is presented to an individual who has achieved excellence in their field or who has demonstrated leadership and advancement of women or women’s issues. Cyndie is one of two recipients this year.
The award will be presented at a reception in Los Angeles on November 14.
Cyndie M. Chang is the managing partner of the firm's Los Angeles office and a member of the firm's governing Partners Board. She manages complex business disputes and litigation, involving corporate, contract, real estate, and regulatory issues across manufacturing, retail, healthcare, technology, insurance, banking and financial services. She is past President of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA) and the Southern California Chinese Lawyers Association, and is a member of the Board of Piermont Bank, the Board of Directors of Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, and the board and Regional Chair of the Committee of 100, a nonpartisan organization of prominent Chinese Americans dedicated to the spirit of excellence and achievement in America. Cyndie is also President Elect of the Chancery Club of Los Angeles – a club of respected and influential lawyers and judges in Los Angeles, and on the Executive Committee of the LA County Bar Litigation Section. She previously served on the NAWL board, the LAist 89.3 Advisory Board (NPR affiliate), and the ABA Commission on Women in the Profession, as a past commissioner.
