NEW YORK, June 16, 2023 —Duane Morris LLP has appointed James J. Regan co-managing partner of its New York office. Regan succeeds James J. Coster, who served in that role since 2020 and will be maintaining his practice with the firm. Partner Michael D. Grohman will continue in his role as co-managing partner of the New York office.
“As Duane Morris grows and evolves as a client service organization, it is always healthy to look at our internal organizational development as well,” said Matthew A. Taylor, Chairman and CEO of Duane Morris. “I’m confident that Jim will continue the outstanding leadership of Jim Coster as he taps into his previous experience as managing partner of the Satterlee Stephens firm, which joined Duane Morris in February 2020.”
Taylor continued, “Our firm owes Jim Coster a debt of gratitude for his clear-eyed direction as Satterlee Stephens joined forces with Duane Morris, as well as for the success that our combined firm has enjoyed since the merger. His leadership will continue to guide the firm through his positions as a member of our Executive Committee and our Partners Board, as well as chair of the Securities Litigation Division of the Trial Practice Group.”
“I am excited to continue the great work of Jim and Michael as we continue to grow our presence in New York and work across the Duane Morris platform to offer our clients the best legal services possible,” said Regan.
