Michael D. Crosson is a member of the firm’s Commercial, Securities and Antitrust Litigation Division. Mr. Crosson has experience with matters involving complex commercial litigation, non-compete, trade secrets, and unfair competition litigation, white-collar defense, securities litigation, and appellate litigation.
At the trial level, Mr. Crosson has represented clients in federal and state courts in connection with fraud, breach of contract, state securities laws, misappropriation, and civil RICO claims. Mr. Crosson has also represented clients in SEC administrative proceedings and FINRA arbitrations. In addition, Mr. Crosson has experience with complex internal investigations and counseling employers and individuals on employment matters, including restrictive covenants and severance agreements.
In addition to his trial practice, Mr. Crosson has briefed an appeal before the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, as well as an appeal before the Pennsylvania Superior Court.
Prior to joining Duane Morris, Mr. Crosson served as judicial law clerk to the Hon. R. Barclay Surrick of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Mr. Crosson is a 2018 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, where he was associate editor, Vol. 19 of the University of Pennsylvania Journal of Constitutional Law, and a graduate of St. Olaf College.
