Duane Morris Goes Purple In Support of LGBT Community on Spirit DayPHILADELPHIA, October 17, 2013 - Duane Morris is proud to go purple once again in support of the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation's annual Spirit Day.

The firm's website's usual blue will instead be purple on October 17th to show support for LGBT youth and signify its stance against bullying.

The Daily Report's ATLaw blog reported that Duane Morris led the way among law firms, being the only one listed as a participant last year. In 2013, other law firms have now joined Duane Morris and the many well-known companies who pledge to go purple for Spirit Day such as CBS, PepsiCo, Johnson & Johnson, Verizon, Wells Fargo, MTV, United Airlines, and Facebook as well as major sports leagues: MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL, UFC, AND MLS.

Observed annually, schools, corporations, organizations, media professionals, individuals, and celebrities wear purple, which symbolizes 'spirit' on the rainbow flag. Millions participate in Spirit Day in support of the LGBT community each year.
