Forum On Liquified Natural Gas to Feature Duane Morris Partner

Washington, D.C., January 22 - Sheila Slocum Hollis, partner in charge of the Washington, D.C. office of Duane Morris LLP, among the one hundred largest law firms in the United States, will be a featured presenter at a roundtable discussion at the upcoming LNG 2004: Supply, Demand, Market Change and Financing executive forum to be held January 29-30, 2004 at the Institute of the Americas in La Jolla, California.

Sheila will provide an overview and lead a panel discussion on the topic of "The Community, Environment, Safety and Security: A discussion of the key issues."

The Institute of the Americas, founded in 1983, is an independent, non-profit institution at the University of California, San Diego. Its mission is to be a significant catalyst for promoting development and integration, emphasizing the role of the private sector as a means to improve the economic, political, and social well-being of the people of the Americas.

This executive forum will focus on liquified natural gas (LNG) and offer an update on the proposed projects for Baja California and California and the growing importance of LNG and its potential to meet projected natural gas demand in North America. Key tenets for discussion will be the success of Atlantic LNG in Trinidad and Tobago, the status of Venezuela's Mariscal Sucre project, proposed sources of natural gas supply, and financing the required investments.

Sheila is managing partner of the Washington, D.C. office and serves on the firm's partners' board. She practices in the areas of energy transactional and regulatory law, and international and administrative law before government agencies, Congress and other entities. She specializes in domestic and international energy, water and environmental matters, representing governmental bodies and the power and natural gas industries. Sheila was recently named one of the 50 Key Women in Energy.
