Duane Morris Partner Hope P. Krebs to Serve on Board of British American Business Council
PHILADELPHIA, APRIL 12 - Duane Morris LLP is pleased to announce that Hope P. Krebs, co-chair of the firm's approximately 100-member International Practice Group and an international tax partner, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the British American Business Council of Greater Philadelphia.
Ms. Krebs' appointment further strengthens the firm's involvement in the BABC. She joins Duane Morris partners Anthony D. Martin, who is president of the Boston chapter, Brian S. Goldstein, who serves on the New York board, and Richard Keck, who is a vice president in Atlanta.
The BABC promotes increased trade and investment between the UK and the United States, supports the unique business partnership between the two countries and provides to member companies business development and business intelligence services, as well as access to a broad, well-established transatlantic business network.
Before joining Duane Morris in 1998, Ms. Krebs was a senior manager of International Tax Services for Ernst & Young LLP and, prior to that, was associated with the New York tax department of another major national law firm. She is a member of the International Fiscal Association, the International Tax Institute, the Committees on U.S. Activities of Foreign Taxpayers and Foreign Activities of U.S. Taxpayers of the Taxation Section of the American Bar Association. She has written and spoken extensively across the nation on international tax topics.
