Duane Morris Welcomes Corporate Partner Jeanne Simkins Hollis to Atlanta Office
ATLANTA, January 10 - Duane Morris LLP is pleased to welcome Jeanne Simkins Hollis to its Corporate Practice Group in Atlanta. Jeanne was a partner with Adorno & Yoss, where she served as managing partner of the firm's Atlanta office.
Jeanne practices in the area of corporate and international law, and serves a diverse array of multinational clients in the transportation, corporate, energy and utility sectors. She has worked on international privatizations on behalf of utility clients and has handled structured finance transactions and the sale of bulk commercial loans. Jeanne has represented clients before the Federal Aviation Administration and served as counsel to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development in the sale of mortgage-backed securities.
Jeanne previously served as president of Multi-Energy Group LLC, an energy marketing, procurement and management company in energy and energy-related products, including natural gas, electricity and water. Jeanne also served as vice president and general counsel of Hollis & Company, a consulting firm, where she represented corporate clients in international business transactions, including utility privatizations in the Caribbean and Asia. Jeanne also served as senior counsel for the Resolution Trust Corporation, in which capacity she instituted the closure of savings and loans nationwide and oversaw subsidiary/loan dispositions and securitizations.
A member of the State Bar of Georgia, the District of Columbia Bar, and the American, National and Pennsylvania bar associations, Jeanne is a 1979 graduate of North Carolina Central University School of Law and a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center (LL.M.) and the University of North Carolina.
