Duane Morris Welcomes Gilson Gray to New York Office
NEW YORK, October 2, 2007 - Gilson Gray, formerly of Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP, has joined the Corporate Practice Group of Duane Morris. Gilson joins the firm in its New York office, which recently added six other attorneys to its Corporate and Intellectual Property practice groups as part of its planned New York and international practice expansion. He will also be spending significant time in the firm's London office.
Gilson, who has previously practiced law in London, Paris and Brussels as well as New York, focuses his practice on banking and corporate law, with an emphasis on financing transactions, secured lending, workouts, lender liability issues, bank regulatory matters, and mergers and acquisitions, often with international components. A member of the American Law Institute, Gilson previously served as a director of Hill Samuel & Co. Limited and Bank of America International Limited in London and New York, where he was engaged in merchant and investment banking.
Gilson received his A.B. from Princeton University and, after serving in the U.S. Army, earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from Harvard Law School, where he was an editor of the Harvard Law Review. He has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in America and similar publications for many years.
