Duane Morris Adds New Manager John Friskey to Tax Accounting Group
PHILADELPHIA, January 30, 2009 - Duane Morris LLP has added John C. Friskey, CPA, as a manager in the Tax Accounting Group in the firm's Philadelphia office. He was formerly a manager at public accounting firm Fishbein and Company, P.C. in Horsham, Pa. Friskey joins Duane Morris with significant experience in individual and business tax planning and compliance.
With almost three decades of experience, Friskey has provided tax planning, compliance services and accounting and advisory services to individuals, corporations, nonprofit entities, estates and trusts. He focuses his practice primarily on tax planning, compliance activities and litigation consulting activities for high net worth individuals, partnerships, corporations and pass-through entities. Friskey has worked with local and international CPA firms and as an executive in private industry.
A member of the Pennsylvania and American Institutes of Certified Public Accountants, Friskey received his B.S. in accounting from LaSalle University. He is registered with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and holds both Series 6 and 63 licenses, allowing him to act as an agent to buy and sell securities in Pennsylvania and, under Series 6, sell mutual funds and variable annuities.
