Charles J. O'Donnell is responsible for the management and direction of all administrative areas of the firm. Mr. O'Donnell assumed this position in 1995 after serving as the firm's Chief Financial Officer for 12 years. Prior to that position, he was the Manager of the firm's Tax Accounting Department. Mr. O'Donnell graduated from Drexel University with a B.S. in Accounting. He has been active in the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA) and served in various capacities of the Philadelphia Chapter of ALA, including president in 1992/1993. He was the educational chair of the 2003 Large Firm Principal Administrators (LFA) retreat and is a member of the LFA Caucus Steering Committee. At the 2011 ALA Annual Conference and Exposition, he served, along with firm Chairman/CEO John Soroko, on the panel entitled "Creating and Maintaining an Extraordinary Managing Partner/Administrator Team." He and John are also quoted in the book The Extraordinary Managing Partner.

Mr. O'Donnell has been a group leader and panelist for several focus groups at the Attorneys' Liability Assurance Society, Inc. (ALAS) and the Firm Administrators annual meetings. He served on the panel of the "Think Tank" program at the ALAS Annual General Meeting held in Vancouver in June 2008. In October of 2011 and November of 2012, he was a panelist on the Profitability and Pricing Models Briefing in New York City sponsored by Sandpiper Partners. He also co-presented a webinar in January of 2012 on the same subject. Mr. O'Donnell has completed the "Leading Professional Service Firms" program at the Harvard Business School and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
