Gurbir K. Sandhu is a Senior Associate in Duane Morris’ Corporate Practice Group, where she advises private equity sponsors, LPs, asset managers, investment vehicles, public and private companies, investment firms, and strategic buyers and sellers on a wide range of transactional and governance matters. Ms. Sandhu’s practice includes domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, fund level investments, de-SPAC transactions, and capital markets matters, as well as public company reporting and compliance.

Ms. Sandhu brings a business-oriented, solutions-focused approach to transactions, drawing on her interdisciplinary background and leadership experience in the non-profit sector. Before entering her legal career, she successfully led multiple high-profile, high-impact initiatives in the non-profit sector in Canada and the United States, working with diverse stakeholders across business, faith, governmental, and organized labor sectors. This experience in consensus-building and client advocacy continues to inform her transactional work, helping her navigate complex negotiations and guide clients toward practical, results-focused business outcomes.

Ms. Sandhu is a graduate of Temple University Beasley School of Law, J.D., 2019, earned a Master of Social Work from the University of Calgary, 2004 and a Bachelor of Social Work from Thompson Rivers University 2002, where she received the Grace Chronister Distinguished Alumni Award.
