About the Roundtable

Duane Morris’ Banking and Finance Industry Group invites you to the 2024 edition of our General Counsel Discussion and Roundtable. This invite-only, hybrid event will focus on critical issues facing in-house attorneys and executives at banks and financial institutions amid major developments in AI and DE&I.

Program 1: Artificial Intelligence (AI)

Generative AI is rapidly changing the way banks and financial services firms operate their businesses. Leading industry and legal consulting practitioners will share their insights on AI trends in banking and finance, and our panel will discuss the problems AI is likely to solve and the legal complexities it will create.

Moderator

Christopher Winter, Partner and Team Lead, Banking and Finance, Duane Morris LLP

Opening Speaker

Christine Livingston, Managing Director/Leader of Artificial Intelligence Practice, Protiviti

Panelists

Program 2: Diversity & Inclusion (D&I)

D&I continues to evolve in an extraordinary way in both the banking and legal industries. Following the U.S. Supreme Court’s affirmative action decisions in Students for Fair Admissions v. Harvard University and Students for Fair Admissions v. University of North Carolina, there are questions about the viability of D&I programs at financial institutions and law firms. Duane Morris partner Terrance Evans will examine the past, present and future of D&I in the banking and legal industries. Our panel will discuss preserving D&I programs in the aftermath of the Supreme Court decisions, and best practices for risk management, recruitment, retention and business development.
