PHILADELPHIA, March 5, 2025—Duane Morris is pleased to announce that Arti Fotedar has been selected as a 2025 fellow of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD), and Brandon Chan, Ph.D. and Zeke Van Keuren have been selected for the 2025 LCLD Pathfinder Program. These attorneys are senior associates at Duane Morris.
The LCLD Fellows Program and LCLD Pathfinder Program provide professional development, leadership training and relationship building for experienced, mid-career and early career diverse attorneys from LCLD member organizations, taught by top leaders in the legal profession as well as experts in the fields of learning and development and executive coaching. Founded in 2009, LCLD is a growing organization of more than 400 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners who are personally committed to creating a more diverse and inclusive legal profession. Its action programs aim to attract, inspire and nurture legal talent to help a new and more diverse generation of attorneys attain leadership positions.
Arti Fotedar practices litigation in the area of health law and has an in-depth understanding of the needs of healthcare clients. She represents hospitals, laboratories and other healthcare facilities in complex commercial disputes and government investigations involving reimbursement issues, compliance, and fraud and abuse. Fotedar previously served as a legal fellow in the Office of General Counsel at NYU Langone Medical Center. She also worked at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative during law school. Fotedar is based out of the firm’s New York City office.
Brandon A. Chan, Ph.D. is a patent attorney and represents clients in all aspects of intellectual property law. He prepares and prosecutes patent applications in technologies ranging from biotechnology and chemistry to pharmaceuticals and design. In addition, Chan counsels clients regarding freedom-to-operate, invalidity and noninfringement. Further, he assists clients in obtaining trademark protection and in protecting their intellectual property rights against allegations of infringement. He received a doctorate in chemistry from Louisiana State University. Prior to attending law school, he participated in academic research focusing on the synthesis and characterization of biopolymers. Chan is based out of the firm’s New York City office.
Zeke Van Keuren practices in the area of health law. Van Keuren has advised healthcare providers on regulatory and compliance issues, including contract drafting and review, the Stark law, federal and state anti-kickback statutes, licensing, corporate practice of medicine and general tort liability. He also has counseled healthcare providers and ancillary service providers in responding to due diligence and government investigations. Van Keuren is based out of the firm’s Atlanta office.
