CHICAGO, March 10, 2020—Brian A. McAleenan has joined Duane Morris LLP as a partner in the firm’s Trial Practice Group in its Chicago office. Prior to joining Duane Morris, McAleenan was a partner at Sidley Austin LLP.

McAleenan has a broad litigation and regulatory practice. His litigation experience includes cases involving telecommunications, general contract and commercial disputes, fraudulent transfers, securities fraud, fiduciary duties and corporate governance. McAleenan’s regulatory experience includes adjudication proceedings before the Federal Communications Commission, ratemaking and certification proceedings before the Illinois Commerce Commission, and advising companies on general utility regulation issues, including affiliated interests and public utility status.
McAleenan is a graduate of the University of Illinois College of Law (J.D., magna cum laude, Order of the Coif, 1998) and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (B.S., with honors, 1995).
