Duane Morris is pleased to announce that Jiazhong (Luo has been selected as a 2024 Fellow of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) and Dana Pellegrino and Glenn Richeson have been selected for the 2024 LCLD Pathfinder Program.

Founded in 2009, LCLD is a growing organization of more than 400 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners who are personally committed to creating a more diverse and inclusive legal profession. Its action programs aim to attract, inspire and nurture legal talent to help a new and more diverse generation of attorneys attain leadership positions.

The LCLD Fellows Program and LCLD Pathfinder Program provide professional development, leadership training and relationship building for experienced, mid-career and early career diverse attorneys from LCLD member organizations, taught by top leaders in the legal profession as well as experts in the fields of learning and development and executive coaching.

Jiazhong (Jason) Luo, Ph.D., practices in the area of intellectual property law focusing on all aspects of patent law, including patent prosecution, due diligence, opinion and litigation. He has represented clients in patent prosecutions in the areas of chemistry; pharmaceuticals; material science; polymer science; nanotechnology; semiconductor devices and processing; optoelectronic materials and devices; organic light emitting diodes; photovoltaic devices; smart cards; sensors; green energy; hydrogen storage and refueling; electrical and automated vehicles; energy storage; computer simulation; medical devices; surgical tools; DNA chips; antibody; bioanalysis; and ornamental design. In addition to his patent law practice, Dr. Luo has also worked on pro bono matters involving trademark, immigration and citizenship. 

Dana Pellegrino counsels on intellectual property matters from inception to enforcement, all the way from trademark and copyright clearance, prosecution, and maintenance, to trademark, copyright, patent, and trade dress litigation. Dana appreciates the particularities of working with small businesses, global entities, and everyone in-between, and practices in a broad range of industries, including fashion, retail, consumer branded products, cannabis, music, digital & social media, software, and telecommunications.

Glenn D. Richeson practices in the area of intellectual property law, including analysis acquisition, enforcement and defense. Mr. Richeson is experienced at prosecuting patent and trademark applications before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He counsels and assists clients in the acquisition and enforcement of U.S. and foreign patent rights in diverse technologies such as telecommunication, intrusion detection, network security, wireless network systems, semiconductor design and manufacturing, financial transactions, data encryption, thin film deposition, solar cells, software, business methods and medical devices, including surgical tools and implants. He is a member of the firm’s Patent Trial and Appeal Board practice group and has assisted in multiple post-grant proceedings before the Board.
