Robert A. Zinn has been selected as the “Lawyer of the Year” in Miami for Transportation Law. Zinn also received this distinction for International Mergers & Acquisitions in 2020. He is a seasoned transactional attorney with more than 30 years of experience, focusing on mergers and acquisitions and full-service representation of closely held companies, and leveraging his in-depth knowledge of all operational areas of the automotive industry. His industry acumen includes sales, marketing, product development, manufacturing, procurement, retail distribution and international operations. An automotive industry veteran, Zinn has extensive experience advising U.S. and Middle Eastern automotive clients on buy-sell agreements, manufacturer/distributor relations, dealer agreements, franchising, relocation, restructuring and consolidation.
Frederick Cohen has been selected as the “Lawyer of the Year” in New York City for Construction Law. Cohen also received this distinction in 2018 and was named for Litigation - Construction in 2014. With more than 35 years of experience in construction matters, Cohen’s work includes resolving issues involving delays, defective performance and structural failures. He also has resolved many cases through alternative dispute resolution procedures. Cohen’s practice focuses upon the representation of owner-developers, nonprofit institutions, contractors and sureties in both the private and public sectors. He has been recognized by Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business as one of the leading construction attorneys in New York since 2008.
Allen J. Ross has been selected as the "Lawyer of the Year" in New York City for Litigation – Construction. Ross also received this distinction in 2015 and 2016. Ross has more than 45 years of experience practicing law in the areas of construction, litigation and real estate. In addition to traditional legal work, he has developed a career in alternative dispute resolution in the construction industry, serving as an arbitrator, mediator and dispute review board chair. Ross is a member of the American, New York State and New York City Bar Associations, as well as the Construction Industry Panel of Arbitrators and the Panel of Mediators of the American Arbitration Association. Lawrence J. Kotler has been selected as the "Lawyer of the Year" in Philadelphia for Litigation - Bankruptcy. Kotler also received this distinction in 2023. He is co-chair of the Bankruptcy and Fiduciary Representations Division of Duane Morris’ Business Reorganization and Financial Restructuring Practice Group. He practices in the area of reorganization and finance, representing Chapter 11 debtors-in-possession and trustees, Chapter 7 trustees, liquidating trustees, creditors' committees, secured creditors and large institutional unsecured creditors. Kotler has been listed in Chambers USA since 2006 as one of the top Bankruptcy lawyers in Pennsylvania. In 2024, he received the David T. David E. Loder has been selected as the “Lawyer of the Year” in Philadelphia for Health Care Law. Loder also received this distinction in 2022. He focuses his practice on hospital governance, accreditation, credentialing, litigation of reimbursement issues, managed care arrangements and Medicaid and Medicare programs. He represents numerous for-profit and nonprofit organizations in the healthcare industry. Loder serves as general counsel to the Hospital and Healthsystem Association of Pennsylvania.
