Richard D. Hoffman practices in the area of litigation with a focus on commercial and insurance coverage issues. Hoffman advises corporations, professionals and fiduciaries—including attorneys, directors and officers, brokers and accountants—in insurance litigation. He represents insurers in coverage issues, civil actions, arbitrations and bad-faith claims. Hoffman has represented clients in trials and arbitrations involving legal fees, coverage under specialty lines of insurance, bad-faith cases and legal malpractice actions.
Mr. Hoffman is a 1977 graduate of the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, where he was editor of Constitutional Law Quarterly and elected to the Order of the Coif, and a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles.
