Choosing Arbitration over Litigation

Albee BatesDuane Morris partner Albert Bates, Jr., a member of the firm’s Trial Practice Group in its Pittsburgh office, is quoted on the benefits of arbitration as an alternative to civil litigation in resolving business disputes. Bates, who regularly serves as an arbitrator, mainly in construction cases, and has represented clients in numerous arbitrations, discusses the flexible nature of the process and his experiences as a member of arbitration panels. He is also pictured.
