LONDON, October 26, 2015—Duane Morris LLP is pleased to announce that it has assisted European private capital group Metric Capital Partners (“MCP” or “Metric”) in its investment in McCurrach (“McCurrach” or the “company”), a market-leading provider of outsourced field sales services in the UK and Ireland. The Duane Morris team included corporate partner Ray Smyth, employment partner Elena Cooper and real estate partner Milan Patel, all in the firm’s London office. Metric was also assisted by Scottish counsel Brodies LLP and Irish counsel Matheson. 

Established in 1898 by the McCurrach family, forebears of the current majority owners the McNicol family, McCurrach offers its clients a broad range of outsourced field sales activities designed to ensure that a product is visible to consumers and available at the point of purchase across a variety of channels. McCurrach’s clients are leading global and national brands in a number of verticals, including grocery, financial services and consumer electronics. In the transaction, Metric has partnered with the McNicol family and McCurrach’s management team, and together, they will share ownership of the company going forward. Metric has also made available to McCurrach additional capital to support future strategic expansion.
