Duane Morris Continues Newark Growth; New Partners Join Trial, Real Estate Groups
NEWARK, MAY 19 - Duane Morris LLP, one of the nation's 100 largest law firms, has added two new partners in its Newark office. Eric R. Breslin, formerly of Epstein, Becker & Green, P.C., has joined the Trial Practice Group and Stephen A. Urban, formerly of Drinker Biddle & Reath, LLP, has joined the Real Estate Practice Group.

Eric R. Breslin concentrates his practice in the areas of complex commercial litigation and white collar criminal defense, representing a broad range of companies and individuals in pharmaceuticals, construction, computer consulting and other industries. His expertise includes tax, civil, and intellectual property litigation.
Eric has tried a variety of criminal and civil matters to verdict in state and federal courts in New Jersey and elsewhere. These include work for a utility charged with criminal Clean Air Act violations; serving as co-counsel for a New Jersey-based computer company in a copyright dispute in England; and representing a physician in a criminal tax matter.
He also conducted numerous internal investigations for corporate clients.
He served as a clerk in 1982 for Hon. Robert N. Wilentz, then Chief Justice of the New Jersey Supreme Court. Eric received his law degree in 1982 from George Washington University, graduating with honors. He is also a 1979 graduate of Oberlin College with a B.A. in History.
Stephen A. Urban's real estate practice focuses on complex transactions, financing, leasing and easement issues. He is experienced in representing sellers, purchasers, borrowers and lenders in a wide range of commercial transactions. Stephen represents property owners in negotiating and drafting construction contracts, preparing organizational documents for real estate investment partnerships, corporations and limited liability companies, and negotiating real estate brokerage agreements.
He is a 1990 cum laude graduate of Cornell Law School and also was an undergraduate at Cornell, graduating with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.
