Employment Attorney Joseph A. Ciucci Joins Duane Morris' Atlanta Office
ATLANTA, Nov. 16 - Duane Morris LLP, one of the nation's 100 largest law firms, is pleased to welcome Joseph A. Ciucci as a partner in its Atlanta office. Joe, formerly of Constangy, Brooks & Smith, LLC, has joined the firm's Employment and Immigration Practice Group.
Joe represents clients in the areas of employment litigation, traditional labor law and employee relations matters. He has successfully defended discrimination and wrongful discharge actions in federal and state courts and agencies, obtained injunctions, and enforced employee non-competition agreements. He represents clients before the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), responding to unfair labor practice charges, overseeing agency investigations, resolving compliance issues, and assisting employers through organizing attempts by unions, picketing and secondary boycotts. In addition, he has counseled clients on employment issues stemming from Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), as well as on the implementation and documentation of employee policies. He is a member of the bar in Georgia, Michigan and Pennsylvania. He is also a member of the American Bar Association.
Joe earned his J.D. from the University of Detroit School of Law in 1993 and was the Labor Law Symposium Editor for the Law Review. He graduated with departmental honors in 1990 with a B.A. in History and Political Science from Alma College in Michigan.
